Animal Behavior
Grades 2 and 3
June 25th - June 29th 9:00am - 4:00pm

This action packed program has something for everyone! Each day students will investigate a new group of animals and learn about their behaviors. Students will use the information they learn to explore all parts of Southwick's Zoo.

Introduction to Animal Ecology
Grades K and 1
1/2 Day
July 2nd - July 6th 9:00am - 12:30pm

Grades 1 and 2
1/2 Day
July 30th - August 3rd 9:00am - 12:30pm
$150 Members / $175 non-Members
This 1/2 day program is designed to introduce the basics of animal ecology, including physical differences between different classifications of animals, adaptations to changing environments and interaction between animals.

Adventure and Eco-systems
Grades 5 and 6

This program is a hands on experience. Students explore all the animals at the zoo using climate zones as their tools.

Teen Zoology Excursion
Grades 7 and 8
August 6th - August 10th 9:00am - 4:00pm
$325 Members / $375 non-Members
This is an excursion program for teens who are interested in careers related to animal care or zoology.
Possible trips include:
- Tufts Veterinary School
- Whale Watch
- Blackstone River Cruise
- Day at Southwick's Zoo
- Kennel Visit
- New England Owl Exploration Day
