Make your child’s summer vacation and adventure with EARTH”s Wild Adventure Summer Programs!

Learning meets fun with our Wild Adventure Summer Programs. We offer day camps for students in grades k-9. Summer programs feature daily interactive activities, exposure to over 115 species of wild and exotic animals in Southwick’s Zoo, over 200 acres of wetlands, forests, and native habitats to explore,¬† arts and crafts. We will also provide and morning and after noon snack.

Introduction to Animal Ecology – Grades K & 1

June 29th-July 3rd
9:00am-12:00pm

Non-Members: $150 / EARTH Member: $135
This half day program for younger students provides a basic introduction to animal ecology.

 

Adventures & Ecosystems – Grades 4, 5, & 6

Non-Members: $300 / EARTH Member: $275
Students get to learn about ecosystems in this hands on learning experience.

 

Introduction to Animal Ecology – Grades 1 & 2

July 13th-July 17th
9:00am-12:30pm

Non-Members: $165 / EARTH Member: $145
This half day program for younger students provides a basic introduction to animal ecology.

Students get to learn about ecosystems in this hands on learning experience.

Animal Behavior – Grades 2 & 3

July 27th-31st
9:00am-4:00pm

Non-Members: $300 / EARTH Member: $275
This program involves students learn about the behaviors of different types of animals. Each day students will investigate a new group on animals in the zoo.

 

Teen Zoology – Grades 7, 8, & 9

The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, MA is one of the fascinating locations our Teen Zoology campers visit.

Jul7 6-10
9:00am-4:00pm

Non-Members: $375 / EARTH Member: $325
This is an excursion program for teens interested in careers related to animal care or zoology. Possible trips include:

  • Tufts Veterinary School
  • Whale Watch
  • Blackstone River Cruise
  • Day at Southwick’s Zoo
  • Kennel Visit
  • New England Owl Exploration Day
  • More options TBA

 

Program Requirements:

Water bottle, lunch, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat/visor, backpack (to include extra clothing such as socks, t-shirt, sweatshirt, old sneakers, rain coat)
