If you’ve always wanted to try mountain hiking but weren’t sure how to get started or what to bring\, this program is for you! \nJoin EARTH Board Member Brad Fenn as he shares the essentials of mountain hiking. A former hike leader for the Appalachian Mountain Club\, Brad has extensive hiking experience throughout New England\, across the U.S.\, and internationally. He’ll offer practical tips and guidance to help make your hiking adventures both enjoyable and safe. \nTopics will include the 10 Essentials\, navigation\, hiking gear and equipment\, trail etiquette and safety\, and recommendations for hikes suitable for different experience levels. \nWhether you’re new to mountain hiking or an experienced hiker looking for a refresher\, join us at the EARTH Nature Center for an informative and engaging discussion that will help you feel more prepared and confident on the trail.
