Because You Live Here!

2018 Wild Adventure Spring Programs

Our Spring Programs have concluded. Thank you to all who participated. Check out our Summer Programs!

Make your child’s spring break a wild adventure!

In partnership with Southwick’s Zoo, we are offering single-day sessions of our Adventures With Animals program for children in grades 1-6. Each Adventures With Animals session offers a general overview of all the types of animals found in our zoo. Children will learn through hands-on activities and will even meet a few of our animal ambassadors up close and personal!

Did you know we also offer longer Wild Adventure Programs during the summer?

FAQs

Where and when do I drop my child off?

Please drop your child off at 9:00am at the top of the zoo’s smaller parking lot (across the street from the larger field parking lot). There will be a picnic table and sign.

Where do I pick up my child?

Children will be picked up at 4:00pm (or noon for the half day programs) at the top of the zoo’s smaller parking lot (across the street from the larger field parking lot). There will be a picnic table and sign.

What should my child wear?

Make sure your child is dressed for the weather. We spend most of the day outdoors and do a large amount of walking, so we recommend that children wear comfortable shoes and do not wear sandals or open toed shoes.

What should my child bring?

Kids should bring: Water bottle, lunch, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat/visor, & a backpack. Depending on the weather each day, you may want to pack additional clothing such as a sweatshirt, additional pair of socks, etc.
