EARTH Awareness Day

Learn about a variety of topics ranging from beekeeping to adaptations! This day-long event involves special exhibits and presentations in the zoo along with our interns’ projects. Free for members. Regular Southwick’s Zoo admission rates for non-members. Earth Awareness Day is always the first Saturday in August. Rain date is Sunday, August 3.

August 8, 2025 –  Winos for Rhinos  4pm to 8pm
Help save rhinos while you sample wine! Guests will enjoy a winetasting, raffle, presentation featuring some of our Animal Ambdassadors, and a talk from WorthWild Africa. Proceeds from this event go towards rhinoceros conservation.This year’s fundraiser will take place at the Daniels Room in Galliford’s Restaurant & Tavern at Southwicks Zoo, however guests will be able to check out our all new EARTH Connection Center! Member Appreciation After Hours – Kids Night

Our annual after-hours for kids! Child members (age 12 and under) can bring one child guest for FREE and additional child guests for a fee of $15. Adult members may bring non-member adult guests for a $20/person fee.  Parking is across the street of the zoo at gate 3.

Food venues, rides, and gift shops will not be open; however, you are welcome to bring your own food or enjoy dinner at Galliford’s Restaurant. Galliford’s reservations may be made by calling 508-928-0928. www.gallifords.com
