Note: Attendees will meet at and check-in for the event at the EARTH Connection Center located just outside of the zoo at 67 Vineyard Street, Millville, MA.

Join us for a wine tasting in support of rhino conservation on Friday, August 8.

Proceeds from Winos for Rhinos will help support rhino conservation efforts including WorthWild Africa.

Guests will enjoy a wine tasting as well as appetizers, a raffle, a presentation featuring some of our animal ambassadors, and a presentation by WorthWild Africa. We are also offering a VIP ticket option featuring saved seating and a Rhino Encounter at the start of the event!

Guests will also have the opportunity to check out our all new EARTH Connection Center!

Must be 21+ to participate in the wine tasting.

Ticket Information

General Ticket: $75 non-member / $60 EARTH Member*
Includes: Entry to Southwick’s Zoo from 2-4pm, a presentation by Worth Wild Africa, and wine tasting with appetizers.

VIP Ticket: $150 non-member / $120 EARTH Member*
Includes: General ticket PLUS saved seating and an encounter with Southwick’s Zoo’s two white rhinos at the start of the event.
Must be at least 12 years of age to participate in rhino encounter, and those under 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Please only wear closed toe shoes during the encounter.

2025 Winos for Rhinos Schedule

2:00pm – 5:00pm: Check-in at the EARTH Connection Center (located just outside of the zoo at 67 Vineyard Street in Millville)*Event attendees CANNOT check-in at the zoo entrance or Galliford’s. After checking in, guests may explore Southwick’s Zoo until the start of the event at 4pm. Please note that some event activities will take place at the EARTH Connection Center, however the tasting and rhino talk will take place in the Daniels Room.
4:00pm: Meet the Cheetah Cubs with Betsey Brewer at the EARTH Connection Center
We are excited to offer Winos for Rhinos attendees the opportunity to view our all new EARTH Connection Center! Guests will also be able to enjoy a presentation about cheetahs presented by Betsey Brewer featuring cheetah cubs Piper, Peanut, and Mara.
4:30pm: Rhino encounter for VIP Ticket Holders
4:00pm: Raffle in the Daniels Room Opens (raffle will close at 7pm)
5:00pm – 6:00pm: Animal Ambassador Meet and Greet outside the Daniels Room
5:00pm: Winetasting in the Daniels Room starts (a cash bar will also be available)
6:00pm: Presentation by Worth Wild Africa in the Daniels Room
7:15pm: Raffle Winners Drawn and Announced

2025 Special Guest Speaker

We are pleased to welcome back Worth Wild Africa to this year’s Winos for Rhinos!

Team members from Worth Wild Africa will be joining us to give an educating presentation about Rhino conservation and the poaching crisis.

Worth Wild Africa is a non-profit organization based in South Africa. Their mission is t0 support projects that research, monitor and conserve African wildlife; cultivating respect and understanding between people, animals and the environment.

Where will this year's event take place?

This year’s event will be held in the Daniels Room at Galliford’s (located at Southwick’s Zoo).

However, please note that check-in will be at the EARTH Connection Center, located just outside of Southwick’s Zoo. The address for the EARTH Connection Center is: 67 Vineyard Street, Millville, MA 01529

Will tickets be available at the door?

Tickets will not be available to purchase at the door.

Where should I park? Where do I go for the event's check in?

Please park in the larger lot across the street from the Connection Center. Check-in will be available from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and will be located at the EARTH Connection Center (67 Vineyard Street, Millville, MA). Please note that guests cannot enter the Connection Center before 4:00pm.

Does the ticket include zoo admission?

Winos for Rhinos tickets includes zoo admission from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Please be aware that non-member Winos for Rhinos guests cannot use their event ticket to enter the zoo prior to 2:00pm. Event attendees MUST check-in at the EARTH Connection Center BEFORE entering the zoo.

Can I bring my children?

Attendees may bring their children, and tickets must be purchased for children ages 3 years and older. For the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, we ask that parents accompany and supervise their children at all times during the fundraiser.

Only guests that are 21 years or older are permitted to participate in the wine tasting.

Will food be available?

We will have appetizers available for event guests. Galliford’s Restaurant & Tavern will be open if you wish to order take-out to enjoy during or after the fundraiser! Visit www.gallifords.com to view current menus.
